Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Asia

At Suspect in NY I designed and art directed a commercial for Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair which featured a midnight blue background and transparent glass helix and molecules. They later requested an alternate version for their Asian market which I designed the look for. I lightened up the background, retextured the helix and molecules with more of a milk-glass look and came up with a new approach for the supers throughout the spot.

Estee Lauder Perfectionist

Suspect in NY asked me to design a look for a commercial for Estee Lauder's Perfectionist. They requested the palette be lavender and that the transitions be streaky and light filled. They also wanted to see options for a lower third device to bring on their supers instead of having them directly on the background as they usually do.

Weight Watchers 2012 Campaign

Some storyboards I created for Suspect in New York for Weight Watchers 2012 campaign. They provided a resolve of the word believe from their print campaign which we needed to also use in the on-air spots. What they ended up coming up with resembled this first design.

COVERGIRL Pitch Designs for Suspect, NYC

I worked with Suspect in New York City on a pitch for two new commercials for CoverGirl featuring Drew Barrymore. These are a few style frames for Lash Perfection mascara. Previous CoverGirl mascara ads utilized hard, graphic line elements to illustrate the wrapping of product around Drew and the product itself. Here I decided to create flowing, organic fabrics which would wrap around Drew and then transform into graphic lines which would flow around the mascara tube and through the wand and eyelashes. Fabrics and harder, graphic lines created in Cinema 4d and treated/composited in Photoshop. All images © Suspect, NYC.

The second design was for Lash Blast mascara and Shadow Blast eyeshadow. The director requested the design have a fashion photo shoot feel. The spot was to open on a runway scene with paparazzi flashes and incorporate photo snapshots throughout the design. Rather than using black or white photo frames I decided to integrate the frames and photos into the set. Created with Cinema 4D and Photoshop.  All images © Suspect, NYC.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

I designed, art directed and split compositing work on Estee Lauder's 2012 campaign for Advanced Night Repair. I had one day to come up with some looks for particles that were going to be animated in the spot.  They ended up going with the fourth option.
